The well-known afrobeats artist Burna Boy has made it obvious why he will not be taking part in the current statewide demonstrations.
The globally recognized artist responded to a video shot in October 2020 during the EndSars protest, in which his song was played and the demonstrators demanded that it be taken down, using the microblogging platform X.
The African Giant claimed that day that the fight within of him died and that everybody who mentioned his name during the demonstration was cursed.
He wrote: “The fight in me Died on this day. Ogun go doggy anybody wey call my name this time around.”
In another post, he vented about never getting anything from any politician.
He said: “No politician has ever given anything. Go ask wike where the land him give me or which money him give me. You think I’m your faves. 😂.”
