Nigerian Musician Falz Shares insights on ongoing protest

Finally responding to the ongoing nationwide rallies against poor government is Nigerian musician and artist Falz.

August 1st, when Nigerians began a nationwide protest against bad governance, is no longer news.

Today is the second day of the protest. Falz, a well-known activist against bad governance, took to the microblogging platform X to lament President Tinubu’s callousness in ignoring the protest.

He asked how long the president plans to continue pressuring the populace until everything goes awry.
His words: “Genuinely don’t know why it’s so difficult to be humane.

They say make you leave am, you no gree. Say na your birthright. You can’t now turn a deaf ear.

You tried to make it look like the protests were “politically motivated”. Shebi una don see now? How long do you think you can keep on pushing the people back before it blows up in your face ?”

It’s important to note that Afrobeat award-winning musician Burna Boy recently gave Falz the title of “African Giant” after removing himself from the statewide demonstration in response to Nigerians’ cancellation of his 2020 tour.
