Known by his stage name Burna Boy, renowned Nigerian Afrobeat artist Damini Ogulu opened the “Burna Boy Football Academy” in Lagos.
The objective of this novel endeavor is to facilitate the growth of African football by means of an organized training regimen.
According to reports, the academy is open three days a week, with two hours of instruction available on each of those days.
Unexpectedly, videos of the academy’s operations and facilities have suddenly appeared online. Young football players can be seen practicing on the field with a coach guiding them in the viral video.
In a different video, the players are seen dancing to Burna Boy’s songs and enjoying themselves following a productive practice.
The academy serves young football fans in two age groups: junior boys, 4–15, and senior boys, 16–21, according to its official website.
There are training facilities in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Surulere, and Ikoyi.
