Nigerian music icon David Adeleke, simply known as Davido, openly praised his uncle Ademola Adeleke for his good governance of Osun State.
On Chris and Baloo’s Culture Knock Out (C.K.O.) show, Davido said that he considers Governor Ademola Adeleke as the most effective leader the state had ever had. The singer mentioned that people doubted his uncle’s ability because his uncle was known as a great dancer.
He, however, went on to emphasize that since coming into office, the governor has proved everyone wrong by nothing short of good achievements.
He said, “My uncle, the Dancing Governor is good vibes. He has an amazing story, he is the last born of my dad’s family. They [Osun people] never believed that he would become a governor.“He is a real example of, ‘Don’t judge a book by its cover’; just because somebody likes to dance and have a good time, it doesn’t mean when it is time to work, he won’t. Now, he’s been the best Governor that they’ve ever had.”
