A dramatic video making the rounds on social media has captured the moment a man was caught after allegedly attempting to use a fake bank alert to purchase clothes worth ₦5 million. The video, shared by @ChuksEricE on X (formerly Twitter), showed the suspect being pummeled and pulled to the ground by angry witnesses, with several individuals seen slapping him.
In the video, a woman could be heard revealing what the suspect had done. She said:
“He’s a criminal. He is using juju. He came to buy garments for ₦5 million and used a phoney alert.”
