Ubi Franklin, a Nigerian music executive, has dispelled widely circulated rumors that he got into a physical altercation with Cubana Chief Priest, a nightlife entrepreneur and socialite.
The reports claimed that the two got into a heated argument that turned into a fistfight at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
According to an eyewitness account cited by multiple blogs, the altercation drew a sizable crowd and featured what were described as “heavy blows not meant for the faint-hearted.”
Ubi Franklin responded to the claims in a direct post on his Instagram Story, which he later removed, criticizing the veracity of the story and those who believed it.
“Anyone who believes this story, especially the narrative on Instablog written by a blogger in an attempt for relevance, is a f**l lol,” Franklin wrote
