Omo! Political gist is already heating up, and we’re still two years away from the 2027 elections.

In a video currently circulating online, Prophet Abel Boma has shared a controversial prophecy concerning Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate.

The message, which was shared via his official YouTube channel, revealed what he described as a warning from God — claiming that Obi may not emerge victorious in the next presidential race.

“Let’s pray for Peter Obi. I saw him seated, but in the end, he was publicly called a fool. The Lord said he will be deceived. They will act like he’s the chosen one, but at the final moment, they will betray him,”Prophet Boma said in part.

Omo, this one is deep o.

Alleged Divine Disapproval?

According to the cleric, Obi’s leadership may trigger spiritual backlash, especially concerning his reported stance towards the church. He alleged that if Obi were to assume office:

  1. He would introduce a form of diplomatic distance from the church.
  2. His focus would shift heavily to educational reform — especially in the northern regions.
  3. Some decisions may “trigger anger” in the North, despite good intentions.

Prophet Boma further stated that while he had “ten revelations” about Obi’s future in leadership, the most serious was what he described as “a choice against the kingdom of God.”

“There’s only one thing the spirit of God is not happy with… his choice against the kingdom. We need to pray,” he added.

The Reactions So Far…

As expected, the prophecy has stirred reactions online. While some netizens are calling for serious intercession, others believe it’s too early for such declarations.

Though unverified, the video has gone viral — adding another layer to the already tense political atmosphere ahead of 2027.

One thing is clear: the political drama is slowly brewing, and Nigerians are watching closely.
