According to reports, cameras have officially started rolling on the new season, even before Season 2 premieres on August 28. Omo, this is going to be hot! It’s not every day you see Netflix greenlight another season before the current one even airs.
Showrunner and executive producer Melanie Halsall confirmed the news, revealing that the upcoming season will hit screens in 2026. “We’ve got a lot of things to do,” she teased, adding that she’s still full of big ideas for the beloved characters. Halsall hinted that while teenage romance will remain a big part of the plot, Season 3 might explore more intergenerational storylines.
How the Walter Boys Took Over Netflix
Based on the popular Wattpad novel by Ali Novak, My Life with the Walter Boys became an instant success after its Season 1 debut — spending eight weeks in Netflix’s Global English Top 10 and reaching the Top 10 in 88 countries.
The show follows Jackie Howard (played by Nikki Rodriguez), a 15-year-old girl who moves from glamorous Manhattan to rural Silver Falls, Colorado, after a family tragedy. She moves in with her new guardian Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) and her husband George (Marc Blucas) — and their ten kids!
Jackie’s life gets even messier when she finds herself caught between two Walter brothers: dependable, book-smart Alex(Ashby Gentry) and mysterious, brooding Cole (Noah LaLonde).
