Award-winning Nollywood actress, Evan Okoro, has shocked fans with a heartbreaking video where she publicly pleaded for help over her troubled marriage to Prince Chibuzor Nwachimelueze. According to her, not only is the marriage not working, but her life is allegedly in danger.
This is coming barely three months after their traditional wedding, which took place on April 13, 2025, in her hometown.

In a now-viral video, Evan opened up emotionally about the pain and fear she’s been dealing with. She claimed that her husband allegedly threatened to kill her if she attempts to leave the marriage.
“My life is more important to me. The shoe I took home is not my size. I’m living in fear. If I don’t come out to say this, I don’t know where I’ll be tomorrow. He’s threatening my life. I don’t want the marriage anymore,”she said, visibly shaken.

She also revealed that she had already filed a petition at the police station, indicating that this is more than just a lovers’ quarrel — it’s now a legal matter.

Evan further disclosed that her bride price was never paid, despite repeated efforts by her family to reach out. She also claimed that since their wedding, there has been zero intimacy, and her complaints to his family have allegedly been ignored.
