Ossai Ovie Success, a Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, has stirred massive reactions online after he took to Facebook to call out the couple’s upcoming wedding ceremony in Miami, Florida.

Yes, the same Davido and Chioma who already had a lavish traditional wedding not too long ago, are now reportedly preparing for what fans are calling “the final celebration of love.” But according to Ossai, the whole thing is simply financially reckless.

“This Is a Waste of Money” — Ossai Writes

In his strongly worded Facebook post, Ossai didn’t hold back. He expressed deep disappointment over the singer’s decision to host another elaborate wedding abroad, claiming it’s unnecessary and excessive.

Here’s a snippet of what he wrote:

“Davido and Chioma’s white wedding this weekend in Miami is a waste of money, and I am disappointed. Having too much money doesn’t mean you should carelessly spend it.”

Wait, it didn’t stop there… Omo, this is where e choke!

He went on to mention global billionaires like Dangote, Elon Musk, and Mark Zuckerberg, saying they wouldn’t “waste” their money on something like this.

“Why Another Wedding After a Lavish Traditional One?”

Ossai also questioned the point of doing another round of celebration abroad when the couple had already done a grand wedding over a year ago. According to him, true wealth doesn’t need to be shown off every time.

“What is the essence of a white wedding in Florida when your lavish traditional marriage is over a year? I am really disappointed,” he added.

Omo! This opinion really touched nerves online. Some fans say “let them enjoy their money in peace,” while others feel the criticism is valid, especially coming from someone in government.

Note:

Davido and Chioma have not yet responded to Ossai’s comments at the time of this report. And as always, the internet is divided — some praising the lovebirds, others questioning the extravagance.

So now the question is: Is it love, luxury or just too much money?
