According to transfer market insider Matteo Moretto, Celta Vigo have reportedly wrapped up an agreement to sign Borja Iglesias, one of the club’s top targets for the summer window.

The 32-year-old striker spent the 2024/25 season on loan from Real Betis, and he didn’t waste the opportunity to make his mark. In 37 league appearances (24 starts), Iglesias found the back of the net 11 times and added three assists.

But now, according to Moretto, the saga appears to be over.
“Borja Iglesias to Celta, agreement finalized between the parties as reported by AFDLP. The clubs are already exchanging documents.”
