Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta, has given fans a boost ahead of this weekend’s blockbuster clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.
The Gunners’ two big summer signings — Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting CP and Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad — are in line to feature on Sunday.

Fitness Update on Gyokeres
Speaking during his pre-match press conference, Arteta revealed that Gyokeres is making steady progress in terms of fitness and has already featured in a couple of pre-season games.
“He is getting better and better every day. He is normally a really fit player and he has had the small moments in two games [in pre-season] with us so let’s see what he brings on Sunday.”
The Swedish forward, known for his power and goal-scoring instinct, could make his Premier League debut in one of the toughest away fixtures of the season.
Zubimendi Ready to Go
As for Zubimendi, Arsenal fans have nothing to worry about. Arteta confirmed the Spanish midfielder has settled in quickly and is fully fit for the trip to Old Trafford.
“Martin has had a great integration into the team and we are really happy with him. He will be fit for Sunday.”
