The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) just struck again — this time in Umuahia, Abia State, where they busted a full-blown Yahoo Yahoo training centre. According to a statement posted on the commission’s official X page (formerly Twitter), a total of 23 suspects were arrested, including eight alleged trainees and 15 others.
The sting operation, based on credible intel, reportedly took place at the Doofco Palace building, right behind Government College, Umuahia. Others were nabbed in different parts of the city including Umudike, Ahiaeke, and Umugu.

The other suspects include names like Okezie Almond, Kenneth Prospect, Michael Lazarus, and Kingsley Ndubuisi, just to mention a few.
According to the EFCC, two cars, 15 laptops, and 34 mobile phones were recovered from the scene. As usual, they added that the suspects will be charged to court soon.
