London, UK – Crystal Palace are reportedly eyeing a summer move for Brentford midfielder Frank Onyeka, with the Nigerian star emerging as one of their priority transfer targets, according to Africa Foot.

The 27-year-old Super Eagles defensive midfielder recently returned to Brentford after spending last season on loan at Bundesliga side Augsburg, where he made 26 league appearances.

Sources say The Eagles are considering a €12 million bid to secure Onyeka’s services ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Omo, market dey hot! Palace no wan waste time before other clubs enter the race.

But they may already have competition — Spanish side Valencia are also reportedly interested in the Nigerian, though their offer is expected to be around €7 million, which is significantly lower than Palace’s valuation.

Onyeka, known for his work rate and defensive stability in midfield, still has two years left on his contract with Brentford. The West London club will now have to decide whether to cash in on him this summer or keep him for the remainder of his deal.

According to reports, both clubs are monitoring the situation closely, with negotiations likely to heat up as the transfer window progresses.

E be like say this transfer fit turn bidding war o! For now, Onyeka remains a Brentford player, but the coming weeks could determine whether he’s heading to Selhurst Park, Spain, or staying put in London.
