Notable Nigerian clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has openly called out Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, after one of his trucks was allegedly involved in a tragic accident that claimed three lives in Auchi, Edo State, on Sunday.
Fresh tragedy after Phyna’s outcry
This incident comes just days after reality star, Phyna, cried out over the mauling of her sister by a truck reportedly linked to Dangote’s company. Now, the Auchi accident has sparked even more outrage, with Apostle Suleman joining the voices demanding accountability.
“Your recklessness has destroyed families” – Apostle Suleman
Taking to his page, the fiery clergyman berated the billionaire businessman for what he described as recklessness in the management of his trucks. He alleged that the negligence has cost several lives across the country, leaving many families shattered.
Omo, this is painful. Apostle Suleman insisted that the latest tragedy in Auchi must not be swept under the carpet.
In his words:
“@aliko_dangotegcon you are not the only rich man on earth.. Your recklessness in managing your business has caused harm to families and made many parents childless… Your truck just killed 3 persons few mins ago in Auchi.
You give trucks to little boys who are high on drugs and untrained. This won’t go unchallenged.”
Mixed reactions trail his statement
The post has since stirred reactions online. While many Nigerians sympathized with the families of the deceased and supported the Apostle’s bold call-out, others urged caution, insisting that investigations should be carried out before conclusions are drawn.
Some also argued that the issue of reckless driving by heavy-duty trucks is a national problem that requires government regulation, not just individual accountability.

Growing concerns about Dangote trucks
This isn’t the first time Dangote trucks have been at the center of controversy. Over the years, several reports of accidents allegedly involving the company’s trucks have surfaced online, sparking calls for stricter safety measures. With Apostle Suleman now openly challenging the business mogul, Nigerians are waiting to see what action will follow.
