Barcelona Boss Hansi Flick Losing Patience Over Player Registration Issues

Barcelona may have started their La Liga title defence, but all is not well behind the scenes at the Spotify Camp Nou.

According to Diario Sport, manager Hansi Flick is becoming increasingly frustrated with the club’s ongoing player registration problems.

Missing Names in Gameweek 1

In Barca’s opening league clash, several new and existing players were unavailable for selection. The likes of Roony Bardghji, Marc Bernal, Gerard Martín, and Wojciech Szczęsny are still waiting for clearance to feature in Spain’s top flight.

The reason? Barca’s board, led by sporting director Deco, have yet to create the necessary space in the wage bill to complete their registrations.

Flick’s Growing Anger

At first, Flick showed understanding of the financial restrictions holding the club back. But with the situation dragging on, the German tactician is said to be running out of patience.

Quoting Sport’s report:

“Flick is starting to get angry. He already made it clear last week that he understood the club’s situation but that he was not at all ‘happy’ with the issue of registrations.”

Crucial Timing

The frustration couldn’t come at a worse moment. Barca are preparing for their second league outing against Levante, and with no resolution yet in sight, Flick faces the real possibility of going into another match without key reinforcements.

For a coach brought in to restore Barca’s European dominance, this kind of delay is a serious headache. Omo, if the board no act fast, tension fit rise well-well inside that dressing room.
