Popular Nigerian comedian Ali Baba has reportedly been thrown into fresh controversy following claims that he has been evicted from his multi-million naira mansion in Victoria Island, Lagos.

According to reports from Legit NG, the comedy legend, alongside his company XQZMOI TV, was forced out of the property located at 324A Akin Ogunlewe Street. The eviction was carried out by bailiffs of the Federal High Court, acting on a writ of possession signed on August 15, 2025.

How Ali Baba Got The Mansion

The mansion, said to be worth around ₦220 million, was reportedly acquired by Ali Baba in 2021 through the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

However, trouble began when AMCON claimed it was recovering debts allegedly owed by Harold Expansion Industries Nigeria Limited.

The Legal Battle Behind The Property

Interestingly, Harold Expansion Industries disputed the claims, arguing that they had already repaid the debt in question.

Their lawyer, Benjamin Olayiwola Sadibo, insisted that the property was wrongfully sold, sparking a legal tussle that eventually led to the reported eviction.

Ali Baba Yet To Respond

As the news continues to generate reactions online, neither Ali Baba nor his management team has released an official statement regarding the alleged eviction.

For now, fans and industry watchers are eagerly waiting to hear his side of the story. Omo, this gist go hot if Baba finally talks .
