A close friend who first shared the news on social media claimed that she died of intestinal hemorrhage and low blood sugar issues, which led to her sad burial.

Grieving family members, friends, and coworkers from the business came together to pay their final respects to the deceased star during a private memorial service.

Loved ones were clearly upset as they honored her memory at the event, which was seen as being extremely emotional. Videos of heartbreaking farewells and sincere prayers from the funeral swiftly went viral online.

Prominent members of the entertainment world have continued to pay their respects, such as actress Toyin Abraham, who called Monalisa a “bright soul taken too soon.”

In an emotional interview, Johnson threw light on the raging controversies, including allegations against him for embezzling money intended to acquire life jackets. He explained that the trauma and shock from the incident had him in the hospital for more than a month, followed by therapy to recover mentally.

“It’s by the mercy of God that I’m alive today,” he shared, recalling how he was the only one on the doomed boat not wearing a life jacket. Other lives lost on that fateful day and incident during the shooting of a movie include Junior Pope, makeup artist Abigail Frederick (his cousin), and crew members Precious Ofure and Ollantin.

There were confirmed eleven people on the boat that day, according to Johnson. He also strongly denied the hearsay flooding social media that fellow industry colleague named TC Virus had a hand in the incident. “TC Virus had no hand in the deaths,” he said.He then regretted remaining silent on the whole matter for long, citing the immense psychological impact the tragedy had on him, after which he said he intends to revisit the site of the accident and disclose to the public the whole story of what transpired.
