Speaking during a recent service, the bishop didn’t mince words as he urged Nigerians to vote with wisdom and spiritual discernment, not hunger or tribal sentiment.

“Is the Money They Gave You Still There?” – Oyedepo Questions Voters

In a bold moment, the respected preacher threw shade at those who allegedly sold their votes during previous elections, asking if the money they collected still has any value in today’s economy.

“The money they gave you in the last election, I’m sure it’s still there,” he said sarcastically.

He warned church members not to “play the fool” again, especially now that things are worse and the country’s unity is under threat.

Federal Character in Shambles?

Omo, this is painful. Oyedepo lamented how Nigeria’s federal character has allegedly been destroyed, citing the Muslim-Muslim ticket, regional favoritism, and power rotation abuse.

“Today it’s Muslim-Muslim ticket, tomorrow it’s Fulani-Fulani… governors handing over to their brothers…” he added.

The message hit hard as Nigerians continue to battle inflation, fuel crisis, and economic uncertainty.
