According to Fabrizio Romano, over 1.9 million candidates across more than 23,000 schools nationwide sat for the exams between May and June 2025.

WAEC’s Head of National Office, Dr. Amos Dangut, made the announcement on Monday — and here’s the part that shocked many: there was a massive 33.8% drop in performance compared to previous years!

  1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number
    (That’s your 7-digit centre number + 3-digit candidate number. Example: 4123456789)
  2. If your exam year is before 1999, enter your 8-digit WAEC Exam Number
    (That’s 5-digit centre + 3-digit candidate number. Example: 19865001)
  3. Input your exam year — e.g., 2025
  4. Select Examination Type — choose SSCE
  5. Enter your e-PIN Voucher Number
  6. Type in your Personal Identification Number (PIN)
  7. Click Submit
