The much-anticipated final is going down today at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, and Nigeria’s Super Falcons are just 90 minutes away from possibly lifting their 10th WAFCON title — a record-setting achievement that could shake the continent!

In a short video message shared via the Super Falcons’ official X (formerly Twitter) account, the First Lady didn’t hold back in showering the team with praise and powerful words of encouragement.

“My beautiful and lovely Super Falcons, I congratulate you and the officials for qualifying for the final,” she said.

“Your team spirit, determination, and professionalism have been outstanding. You are shining examples to girls in Nigeria and across Africa.

As you step out for the final match, I pray God crowns your efforts with victory. Make us proud. Nigerians and I are waiting to receive you with the trophy in your hands.”

According to reports, the Super Falcons have had a solid run — winning against Tunisia and Botswana, drawing against Algeria, thrashing Zambia 5-0 in the quarter-finals, and knocking out Banyana Banyana of South Africa 2-1 in the semis.

So far, they’ve scored 11 goals and conceded just once — talk about champions’ form!
