It all started when Carter Efe was spotted in a live video where he allegedly referred to Wizkid as a “proud idiot boy” — a statement that quickly sparked reactions across social media.

Omo, na there everywhere catch fire oh! 🔥 Fans of Wizkid, popularly known as Wizkid FC, didn’t find the comment funny at all. Reports claim they stormed his page, dragging him left and right.

Shortly after, Carter Efe took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to lament that his Instagram page had been taken down. He claimed it was the handiwork of angry Wizkid fans.

“FC una collect my Instagram account of 1.8Million followers 😭😭😭💔💔💔💔,” — he cried out.

But wait, the matter never end o… In another emotional post, the skit maker expressed his love for Wizkid despite everything.

“I love him with everything I have in my immune system ❤️🥺 But the fans are going wild for the first son💔
They betrayed me at the last minute…
Still love you Dad❤️,” — he wrote.

This was when, under the X platform, an ally went on to accuse Iyanya of switching sides- supposedly leaving Wizkid high and dry to woo Davido on the fast lane. To defend himself, the Sexy Mama crooner maintained he supports all artists as he went on to name albums he “likes to play.”

That, however, went south- omo this is going to hot!- in trying to refer to Wizkid tribute album Morayo (a sentimental project named after Wiz’s late mum), Iyanya mistyped Maroya.

That instantly caused social media to blow up. The fans wasted no time, and they had their claws in!

@Gwan_123 laughed: “Maroya 😭😂😂 you go just know say na on mute e play am.”
@Rozaycharm_ added, “You don unknowingly drop new banter material for 30Bingos.”

Though Iyanya tried to put out the fire immediately, correcting himself and spelling Morayo right in a subsequent post, the dragging continued, with fans saying the damage was done.

User @Dizmarviz even made content from it: “Maroya the greatest I ever made. Thank you @Iyanya, you just gave us new ingredients for this cooking… This week go long.”
