As the Super Falcons of Nigeria gear up for their high-stakes WAFCON 2024 final against hosts Morocco, former presidential candidate Peter Obi has penned an emotional message that has fans across the country fired up!

Omo, this one touch heart o! In a passionate post shared via his social media pages, Obi hailed the Falcons as “more than just a football team”, calling them symbols of unity, strength, and Nigerian excellence.

Obi’s Message to the Queens of the Continent

“You carry the hopes, dreams, and pride of an entire nation… You are the heartbeat of Nigeria,” he wrote.
“As you step onto the pitch tonight in Morocco, know that you are not alone. Go forth and conquer. Bring the trophy home!”

Omo this is going to hot! With words like these, even non-football fans are feeling the final fever.

Nigeria vs Morocco — It’s More Than Just a Match

The Super Falcons, led by Rasheedat Ajibade, are chasing a record 10th WAFCON title, and this time it’s against a fired-up Moroccan side playing at home.

But if there’s one thing we know, it’s that Nigeria no dey fear crowd or pressure.

Their road to the final hasn’t been smooth — from grinding past Zambia to that last-gasp 2-1 semi-final win over South Africa sealed by Michelle Alozie’s late strike. The Falcons have shown they can fight till the final whistle.

All Eyes on the Stars

With Chiamaka Nnadozie bossing the posts and leaders like Ajibade and Alozie rising to the moment, the Falcons are brimming with belief.

And now, with messages of support from across the nation — including Obi’s powerful tribute — the energy is right.

Final Thoughts:
Tonight’s game at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdellah is more than just football. It’s legacy. It’s pride. It’s Naija versus the noise.

And if the Super Falcons bring their A-game? Omo, history go repeat itself.

Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has sparked major buzz online after she sent a heartfelt message to the Super Falcons ahead of their high-stakes showdown against Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses in the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) final.

Omo, this one go hot o!

The much-anticipated final is going down today at the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, and Nigeria’s Super Falcons are just 90 minutes away from possibly lifting their 10th WAFCON title — a record-setting achievement that could shake the continent!

In a short video message shared via the Super Falcons’ official X (formerly Twitter) account, the First Lady didn’t hold back in showering the team with praise and powerful words of encouragement.

“My beautiful and lovely Super Falcons, I congratulate you and the officials for qualifying for the final,” she said.

“Your team spirit, determination, and professionalism have been outstanding. You are shining examples to girls in Nigeria and across Africa.

As you step out for the final match, I pray God crowns your efforts with victory. Make us proud. Nigerians and I are waiting to receive you with the trophy in your hands.”

Omo, if these girls carry this trophy ehn… e go loud!

According to reports, the Super Falcons have had a solid run — winning against Tunisia and Botswana, drawing against Algeria, thrashing Zambia 5-0 in the quarter-finals, and knocking out Banyana Banyana of South Africa 2-1 in the semis.

So far, they’ve scored 11 goals and conceded just once — talk about champions’ form!

All eyes are on Rabat tonight. Will the Super Falcons deliver?
